These Japanese meatballs are deeply delicious and so versatile. Rich with soy, sweet and sharp with honey and rice wine vinegar, and just a bit of heat coming from the ginger and chilli. It works amazingly with any noodles or rice, something to soak up that sticky sauce. For a lighter alternative, a big pile of steamed Asian veggies (my favourite is pak choi) makes for a healthy but satisfying meal for any day of the week.
Serves 2. Best served with Noodles or Rice and Pak Choi.
