What’s Loula’s Table?

Loula's Table was set up by Laura Cripps, known as 'Loula' to her family and friends. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Loula suddenly found herself unable to do what she does best: cook for people! But with so many people stuck at home, unable to travel, socialise or eat out while juggling jobs, children and mealtimes, it became clear what lots of people needed...affordable, hassle-free, restaurant-quality food delivered to their door.

In 2013, Loula travelled to Barcelona where she completed her Professional Culinary Training and a nutrition degree before spending six months working at a Michelin-recommended restaurant serving Catalan-Japanese fusion in the heart of the city. Loula was enticed back to London by former Ottolenghi Head Chef Louis Solley to cook in his debut restaurant, where the menu blended a vibrant mix of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Ashkenazi influences. 

Since then, Loula has headed up the kitchen for a prominent London catering company and worked as a private freelance chef cooking for distinguished clients. From Barcelona to East London, intimate fine-dining dinners to large-scale events, specialist diets to distinct cuisines, Loula’s wide range of experiences has influenced her colourful cooking style.
