You can never go wrong with pesto. It may be simple but it’s so versatile and always delicious. This version using Cavolo Nero has a slightly more ‘grown up’ earthy depth to the flavour.
It makes a great pasta sauce (try it with our fresh Tortollini) but is also delicious stirred into soups, as a salad dressing, baked with chicken or salmon, drizzled on pizza... loads of things! Perfect for stocking up the fridge or freezer to add some pizzazz to any meal and it’s a great way to get kids to eat dark leafy greens!
Serves 4. Can be frozen. Use within 10 days once defrosted.
