Loula's Table was set up by Laura Cripps, known as 'Loula' to her family and friends. It was set up in response to the Covid-19 lockdown, when Loula suddenly found herself unable to do what she does best - cook for people! 

But with so many people stuck at home, managing jobs and children, unable to travel or go to restaurants, but still wanting to eat well, it became clear what lots of people needed... a service that could produce and deliver quality food at affordable prices, to be enjoyed at home without any of the fuss.

Who is Loula?

After finishing university, Loula's passion for food and travel led her to Barcelona, where she completed her Professional Culinary Training as well as a degree in Nutrition. 
After completing her studies, Laura spent 6 months working in a Michelin Recommended restaurant in the heart of Barcelona, which served a modern fine-dining fusion of Catalan and Japanese cuisines.
She returned to London after being recruited by Louis Solley, previously Head Chef for Ottolenghi, who was launching his debut restaurant in East London. The restaurant served a vibrant mix of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Ashkenazi cuisines. 

Her time spent living and working in Barcelona, and then in East London was hugely influential in Loula's colourful cooking style. Coupled with her love for travel, Laura's food and the menus on Loula's Table draw influences from experiences and cuisines all over the world. 


Since then, Loula spent several years as a Head Chef for a prominent London catering company and then as a private freelance chef cooking for distinguished clients. She has a wide breadth of experience, cooking anything from intimate fine-dining dinners to large-scale events, and for a diverse range of specialist diets.
